Summer means fun. And so does Vegas. And so does Taco. So when it came time for Las Vegas Weekly to stage its first summer swimsuit spread, our fancies turned to Vegas’ foremost party boy. Taco, the big-hearted, supersized, professional fratboy and Falstaffian figure of fun, is world-renowned (at least on YouTube) as the mascot-at-large of Dick’s Last Resort at Excalibur.
To us, Dick's Last Resort mascot Taco is all the ultimate boy of summer. Go behind the scenes of our sexy Summer Issue swimsuit shoot with him at Venus Pool Club to see more of the man than you ever cared to.
Bringing along a selection of last-season swimsuits from quality discount purveyors, we took our hot Taco out of his natural element and set him loose at the exquisite Venus Pool Club at Caesars Palace, where he took full advantage of the posh pool’s permission to go topless—and beyond. Turns out he’s not only a bestower of unforgettable lap dances, he does a mean Shamu impression and is a natural-born male supermodel. It ain’t really summer without the great taste of Taco!
Dick's Last ResortThe fun is nonstop at this Dallas-based chain’s Excalibur outpost, where the waiters pull silly tricks on unsuspecting customers, and make them wear dumb hats to boot. Food here is better than it probably needs to be, especially the Cowboy rib-eye steak and the drunken shrimp cocktail. At dessert, the Mile High Peanut Butter Pie’s a doozy. Known for its overly energetic wait staff, this restaurant is guaranteed to inflict humor on all who enter.
