Shooting location
A man is dead after being shot during a possible home invasion Saturday morning, police said.
Authorities said initial reports are that a homeowner shot and killed an intruder, but Metro Police this afternoon still were investigating to determine the sequence of events.
The shooting happened about 6:30 a.m. in the 3800 block of Hudson Bay Avenue, near Pecos and Bonanza roads.
The homeowner was shot in the arm, but is expected to survive, police said.
