Crash location
Metro Police are investigating a serious accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian near the intersection East Charleston Boulevard and Marion Drive.
Metro spokesman Bill Cassell said the accident occurred shortly before 11:30 a.m. and the extent of injuries are unknown.
Traffic was reduced to one lane from eastbound Charleston Boulevard to North Lamb Boulevard, but the road has since been reopened, police said.
