A 19-year-old Nevada National Guardswoman suspected of driving drunk and killing two people in Henderson last month has been indicted by a Clark County grand jury.

Anita Mann, of Henderson, was indicted on two felony counts of driving under the influence of alcohol resulting in death in connection with the Feb. 16 crash on Horizon Ridge Parkway that killed Karen Hicks and Louis Madden, both 65, of Henderson.

Mann’s blood-alcohol level at the time of the wreck was .26, which would have been more than three times the legal limit for a drinker of legal age.

She is set to be arraigned March 18 in district court in front of Judge Valorie Vega.

A preliminary hearing in the case that had been scheduled for Thursday was vacated.

Mann is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on $240,000 bail. Separately, she is facing charges of hit-and-run and failure to render aid, which are misdemeanors, in connection with a separate crash that occurred about 10 minutes before the fatal collision.

Mann was a private first class in the Nevada National Guard.
