Two injured in one-vehicle crash

A Las Vegas man was critically injured and his passenger suffered minor injuries overnight in a single vehicle accident in the southwest part of the city, according to Metro Police.

Feliciano Agcaoili, 57, was transported to UMC Trauma, where he was admitted with critical injuries, police said. A passenger, Imelda Agcaoili, 50, Las Vegas, was transported to Spring Valley Hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries, police said.

The accident occurred at 8:04 p.m. Friday at the intersection of West Robindale Road and South Buffalo Drive, police said.

Evidence at the scene and witness statements indicated the 1998 Toyota Tacoma Pickā€up truck was traveling west on Robindale Road approaching Buffalo Drive when the driver lost control of the vehicle, police said.

The passenger and driver both jumped out of the vehicle before it drove off the north side of the roadway, officers said. The Toyota traveled into a desert field and stopped, police said.

The accident remains under investigation, police said.
