Metro Police today released photos of a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery last week in the western valley.

Authorities said the men entered a bank at 1:10 p.m. Friday in the area of Buffalo Drive and Flamingo Road while talking on a cell phone. Police said he approached a teller and presented a note demanding money.

The teller complied and the suspect ran from the scene, officials said. Police weren't releasing the name of the bank that was robbed.

The suspect was described as black and 20 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-4-inches tall with a thin build, wearing a green flannel shirt and a dark ball cap. The suspect also wore a black wig tied into a ponytail and was described as having long sideburns.

Anyone with information is being asked to call the Metro Police Robbery Section at (702) 828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555.
