Crash location
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified a woman killed in a collision at the interchange of U.S. 95 and U.S. 93 near Boulder City on Saturday as 79-year-old Sarah Huravitch, of Earp, Calif.
A Chevrolet Tahoe, which was southbound on U.S. 93, failed to yield at a stop sign at the interchange ramp and collided with a Cadillac Escalade about 7:30 a.m., authorities said. The Escalade was northbound on U.S. 95 approaching the interchange at the time of the collision.
Huravitch was a passenger in the Escalade, troopers said. The coroner’s office said she died of multiple blunt force trauma as a result of the collision. Her death was ruled an accident.
Both drivers and two 8-year-old girls were also taken to a hospital, troopers said.

An accident? An accident?
Maybe I read this wrong "A Chevrolet Tahoe, which was southbound on U.S. 93, failed to yield at a stop sign at the interchange ramp and collided with a Cadillac Escalade about 7:30 a.m., authorities said."
Running a red light resulted in an ACCIDENTAL death and a bunch of injuries?? I guess all that's necessary to make things OK is an apology.
You don't YIELD at a stop sign. You STOP at a stop sign. And Stan you are absolutely correct. Not an accident but a preventable collision.
