A woman was taken to University Medical Center Wednesday afternoon after she jumped from a moving medical transport van on U.S. 95, authorities said.
Nevada Highway Patrol spokesman Joseph Fackrell said the woman jumped out of the van on U.S. 95 near the Las Vegas Beltway about 4:30 p.m.
Fackrell said the extent of the woman’s injuries is unknown.

I know that the LV sun has reported in the past about the poor quality of health care... but this is amazing...she was so unhappy about being sent to a las vegas hospital that she decided to jump out of the moving van...and get away...before the doctors had a chance to bungle something up...
Probably just your typical LV meth head tweaker.
No news here folks, carry on.
How terribly sad.
I guess the Stephen King novel we're living is too much for some of the characters to bear.
The reporter failed to report the numerous amounts of NHP patrol cars and officers dispatched to the scene, taking photos of the white van from numerous angles, the lanes of traffic diverted to one lane heading southbound, and not to mention all the lookie-loos hearding northbound causing traffic. And to be honest, the van was parked along the side of the highway, albeit crooked and half in the slow lane of traffic. I dont know how they thought the van was moving, because if anyone who travels the southbound 95 from Durango towards the 215 knows that highway stretch is slightly downhill. I have doubts anyone "jumped" rom this van while it was moving
