Siegel Suites
A person found dead inside a room at an extended-stay hotel Tuesday afternoon on Boulder Highway committed suicide, police said on Wednesday.
Metro Police spokesman Bill Cassell said officers responded after receiving a call about 4:20 p.m. that a body was found at the Siegel Suites, 3625 Boulder Highway. The location is near Boulder Highway's intersection with Sahara Avenue.
It is unknown how long the body has been in the room, police said. No further details were released about the death.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will identify the body and release an official cause of death after notifying family.

surprising, that's such a nice part of town.
Thats Vegas. It was Freemont St. For crime, Boulder Hywy. is the new Freemont St. On site security tries at some of these places. Some of these "extended stay" places could care less and they need to be policed some how. They are very heavily saturated with prostitutes, drug dealers, criminals, pedophiles, boosters, scum of the earth, muderers; you name it. In these times it's a shame some families have to live in these low down dirty properties and have the children subjected to this way of life. Is there pay-ola to metro? There is so much going on in these places how can it be ignored? It really doesn't matter if it's on Boulder, Paradise, Tropicana or wherever. Whats the deal?
Bam, stop it. Someone is D-E-A-D. Regardless of the part of town. This person's family will be called and told a family member is dead. I honestly and truly hope it isn't someone you know and love.
Yeap, bam, I'd say at least 65% of the people that occupy the budget suites on Boulder Highway are those that got chased off Fremont St. by Metro Vice at one time or another, so they migrate South east to stay under the radar, which I personally believe will eventually change by virtue of the fact that Boulder Station, Sams Town and the Properties out in that direction are already hurtin' economy-wise, and these folks hangin' around the area aren't helping, scaring away quality people that live around there from venturing out to gamble and have a nice time whatever time of the day or night it happens to be...its just a matter of time before the big shots do something about it,..they can easily, and they know they can, and the people that live out there know it too....
My sisters have long hung out at or around this roach motel, only one now because my older sister went to see the wizard[a nasty 8-ball that she didn't survive]. yes, the life of spinners can be short. RIP, Carole
Somebody died by their own hand.
This is a shame.
Try to have compassion.
Don't Judge Others!
Memo to self: Stay away from the free breakfast buffet at Siegel.
My condolences to the family. I served with him in the Navy and was very sad to hear of his passing. Wish we had stayed in touch. RIP my friend.
