Dear readers,

Our third annual “Women To Watch” section recognizes 17 women whom we expect to make a mark on our community in a variety of ways. They range from CEOs, presidents and business owners to attorneys, clothing designers and commercial real estate executives.

They are quite an eclectic, but powerful bunch. These are all women that you better pay attention to in 2010. You’ll be hearing a lot about them this year.

The women were chosen after we fielded nominations where we posed the question: How will your nominee have

an impact during the coming year? The responses were again overwhelming. We received more than 100 in all, which forced some tough decisions by the members of our selection committee.

Read through the section and you’ll certainly find an extraordinary group of women. In Business Las Vegas is honored to profile this year’s class and welcomes our 17 newest businesswomen to this elite group. It is a distinct and unique award.
