Brooke Mitchell-Olimpieri was shopping for clothing items several years ago. She knew the style she wanted, but simply couldn’t find it.

She solved her problem by creating her own clothing line.

“That’s what inspired me to create my own line,” Mitchell-Olimpieri said. “At first, I only wanted to better my own wardrobe. Then, I realized other women desired these items as well.”

Mitchell-Olimpieri said Filthy Mouth Clothing, which was created in 2003, is for the sassy, creative, confident woman that doesn’t mind being noticed. She points out that the clothing can be worn day or night with just a simple accessory change. The line is built to allow easy mix and match items to create several looks with few pieces.

She produced her first fashion show in 2005 poolside at the Palms Casino Resort. She now has her line in a boutique (“Stuff”) at the hotel. She keeps the sizes and styles of her line limited, since each piece is hand-sewn. That also makes them more desirable.

Celebrities to have already worn her line include Lindsay Lohan, Avril Lavigne, Kendra Wilkinson, Audrina Patridge and Christine Taylor. Recently, she designed the dress worn by co-founder of N9NE Group, Jenna Morton, for a charity ball at Wynn Las Vegas.

“This year will be important to my business because for the past few years I have grown my business locally as much as I can,” she said. “I believe this year will be a breakout year for the rest of the United States. I have had very positive feedback about my brand nationwide, and I am excited to expand my business nationally.”

Mitchell-Olimpieri also is a door host at Rain Nightclub in the Palms.
