The Clark County School Board is scheduled to choose its president, vice president and clerk at a work session Wednesday.
The School Board selects its officers annually. District regulation limits board members to two consecutive terms as president.
Terri Janison, who is finishing her first year as president since being elected to the School Board in 2006, told the Sun she hopes to have her term renewed. Sheila Moulton, who was first elected to the School Board in 1998 and has previously served as its president, said she was interested in resuming the helm.
The School Board work session, which is expected to include a informational presentation on the district’s land use procedures and policies, will be held at the Greer Education Center, 2832 E. Flamingo Road, beginning at 9 a.m.
