A Tuesday letter to the editor by Art Gearhart suggested that adults should pay an annual fee to use our libraries.
I would like to remind those who advocate any kind of a fee that homeowners already pay an annual tax that supports our libraries. However, many people with out-of-state registered cars make use of our libraries for free.
Many residents are having financial troubles and it would be grossly unfair to put further burdens on those who pay their fair share.
