All patriotic citizens should be concerned about what some Republicans are currently practicing in Congress, as reported by New York Times columnist Paul Krugman in the Sun’s Tuesday issue, “U.S. greatness being sabotaged from within.”
Republican senators are holding up appointments of folks who help run this great country. Why? Because they want some goodies for their districts. Is this greenmail or blackmail? Remember before our financial crisis when Wall Streeters were shouting “greed is good”? Now it has spread to our Congress.
This is no way to run a great country. We have enough problems that our representatives in Washington need to work on.
