Last year’s fireworks show at Lake Las Vegas is shown. This year will feature two displays at The Village at Lake Las Vegas and the Loews Las Vegas Resort.

The Village at Lake Las Vegas area will usher in the new year with a pair of fireworks spectacles at midnight Friday.
One display will be at The Village at Lake Las Vegas and the other will light up the sky near the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort. Both events are free and open to the public.
A seat on the grass in the middle of The Village should provide "an amazing view" of both shows, said Andrea Day, events manager for The Village at Lake Las Vegas.
The restaurants in The Village will be preparing special menus with a variety of festive dishes for the holiday.
