Body found
Metro Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found Sunday next to a trash bin outside a western valley video game store.
Passersby around the GameStop, 1001 S. Rainbow Ave., near the intersection of West Charleston Boulevard, saw the man Sunday afternoon, police said.
Authorities were called to the scene about 3:30 p.m.
Metro Lt. Ted Snodgrass said the body had no visible trauma, leading police to believe the cause of death might have been natural or accidental. An autopsy will determine the official cause and time of death, he said.
Because the man was dressed in soiled clothes, he may have been homeless, Snodgrass said.
The man’s identity was unknown Sunday afternoon.
