Regarding the Tuesday letter to the editor from Geoffrey Hamilton of Northport, Ala., headlined “Until casinos ban smoking, Vegas will lose business”:
I have been a resident of Las Vegas for more than a decade, am now retired and happily gambling and smoking many days of every week. I frequent the Strip as well as my neighborhood casinos.
Seeing as Mr. Hamilton’s most recent visit to Las Vegas was the first in eight years, I won’t be missing him anytime soon. I can personally attest to the fact that I like it here!
