A car hit and killed a pedestrian about 10 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 95, near Flamingo Road, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.
Police said the car was a brown Toyota Corolla. No other details about the victim or incident were immediately available.
Two southbound lanes on U.S. 95 were blocked, officials said.

Okay.... I just drove by this... WHY was a pedestrian on the freeway? Where the accident happened is NO where near an off-ramp or on-ramp.. so what they heck was this guy doing?
Suicide by car?
This fellow could have been confused or a victim of Alzheimer. My condolences to his family.
