Pedestrian killed on U.S. 95, near Flamingo Road

A car hit and killed a pedestrian about 10 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 95, near Flamingo Road, the Nevada Highway Patrol said.

Police said the car was a brown Toyota Corolla. No other details about the victim or incident were immediately available.

Two southbound lanes on U.S. 95 were blocked, officials said.
