North Las Vegas Police are searching for two men they say might have information about an October slaying.

Police are trying to locate David Gonzales, 19, and David Ibarra, 22. Police say they believe the men have vital information regarding the slaying of 23-year-old Daniel Torres.

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Oct. 29, police responded to a report of gunfire in the 2200 block of Superior Position Street. When they arrived, officers found Torres in the street. He had suffered a single gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A preliminary investigation indicates Torres was possibly involved in an altercation with multiple people, police said. Detectives do not believe the victim lived on Superior Position Street.

Police said witnesses reported a Hispanic man in a white tank top limping away from the crime scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call the North Las Vegas Police Department at (702) 633-9111 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
