'Suspicious' package investigated
Streets near the intersection of Desert Inn and Pecos roads have reopened after Metro Police rendered a suspicious package safe.
An evacuation for area businesses has been lifted also, police said.
Officials closed roads near that intersection and the eastbound lanes of Desert Inn Road near Topaz Street after a suspicious package was discovered about 9 a.m.
