Police seek help in finding bank robber

Metro police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a bank last Friday in the area of Flamingo Road and Eastern Avenue.

At 9:27 a.m. on Dec. 17, the suspect entered the bank, approached the teller and presented a note demanding money. The teller complied and the suspect then fled, police said.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, mid 50s, clean shaven, 6 feet with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a puffy black jacket and a blue baseball cap.

Police also suspect he was driving a red or maroon 1990s model Pontiac Firebird.
