‘Suspicious’ package leads to traffic shut down on Bonanza Road

Metro Police have shut down traffic in the 1800 block of W. Bonanza Road as they investigate a "suspicious" package.

Metro spokeswoman Barbara Morgan said the bomb unit responded to the incident, but there haven't been any evacuations. Police told nearby residents and businesses to "shelter in place" while they investigate, she said.

That section of Bonanza Road is near Martin Luther King Boulevard, west of Interstate 15.
