Hikers stranded
Metro Police's search and rescue unit is at Red Rock trying to help several stranded hikers return to their vehicles.
Police said the hikers became stranded when rainwater flooded several washes where they were walking, blocking their route out of the area.
No other details were immediately available.
According to the National Weather Service reporting station at Kyle Canyon, that area had nearly 2 inches of rain since noon and has had about 3.74 inches of rain in the last 24 hours.
