An 18-year-old man fell about 20 feet Thursday afternoon at the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, resulting in possible sprained ankles.
At 2:51 p.m., Metro Police received a call that the man had fallen between the Calico Hills and Sandstone areas. Metro’s Search and Rescue was dispatched.
According to Red Rock Canyon’s website, the trail runs along the base of the Calico Rocks from Calico Basin to Sandstone Quarry.
