Merryhill School students to carol for residents of Atria Seville

Students from a Summerlin private school will sing holiday songs for senior home residents on Thursday afternoon.

Second- and sixth- grade students from Merryhill School’s Summerlin campus will carol for residents living at Atria Seville Assisted Living Community, 2000 N. Rampart Blvd. After the performance, the students will enjoy cookies and milk with the residents, and give each resident a homemade snowflake ornament to hang in his or her room.

The performance is part of Merryhill School’s Giving Without Walls program, which teaches students about community service and civic responsibility.

Merryhill School in Summerlin is one of nine private schools in the Las Vegas Valley that is part of the Nobel Learning Communities, Inc., a national network of 180 private schools in 15 states across the nation.
