Kingwood Crest neighborhood opens in Summerlin

Kingwood Crest

Summerlin opened its newest neighborhood earlier this month: Kingwood Crest is the final neighborhood in the 815-acre The Vistas village. The community consists of mostly two-story homes with an attached two-car garage and a minimum of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

Builder KB Home – which has built more than 4,400 homes in Summerlin – offers five home floor plans ranging in size from 1,704 square feet to 2,712 square feet in the new neighborhood. Prices of the energy-efficient homes start in the mid-$200,000s.

The Vista village features a 25-acre namesake community park with tennis and basketball courts, playground areas, three baseball fields and Summerlin’s first football field. The village also has Linda Givens Elementary School and Vista Commons, a 100,000-square-foot retail center.

Summerlin is a master-planned community of nearly 100,000 residents located in the western valley, abutting Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. The Howard Hughes Corporation is the developer of Summerlin, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.
