Does the federal government ever save money or just spend it?
How about this: Stop making pennies. OK, so we pay $3 for gas instead of $2.99.
Also, stop making one-dollar paper currency that on average lasts four years while one-dollar coins last for decades.
Additionally, stop Saturday mail delivery. The United States Postal Service just posted an $8.5 billion dollar loss.
Note: Canada does not have one-dollar paper currency or Saturday mail delivery.
