Police: Missing Las Vegas girl found

An 11-year-old girl who went missing after leaving school Friday was found safe Saturday morning.

Metro Police said Tausala Ching-sam was found Saturday as a result of cooperation between police and the girl’s family.

Ching-sam had last been seen leaving Orr Middle School on Katie Avenue near Maryland Parkway at about 2:30 Friday.

Police asked for the public’s assistance in finding her early Saturday, but she was located a short time later.
