Former UNLV men's basketball coach Howie Landa will share his love of the game with Henderson's youth at his three-day Hoop Camp, starting Dec. 20.
The camp, which will be held at the Henderson Multigenerational Center, will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration is $75. Ages 8-16 are welcome.
Landa will offer lessons on the game's basic mechanics: Ball handling, defense, passing and shooting. Registration fees include a camp shirt, drills and lectures.
