Springs Preserve offers educational live bird show through February

The Springs Preserve is inviting visitors to “Wings Over the Springs,” a live bird show featuring hawk eagles, falcons and owls.

The free-flight demonstrations by the birds of prey will take place at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through February. Additional shows are scheduled for Clark County School District holidays.

Visitors can see the Eurasian Eagle Owl, the Saker Falcon, the Barbary Saker Falcon, the Lanner Barbary, the African Hawk Eagle, Barbary, the Red Necked Falcon and the African Crow Raven at the Springs Preserve, 333 S. Valley View Blvd.

Admission is free for Springs Preserve members and children under 4. General admission costs $9.95 for non-member adults, $8.95 for seniors, $4.65 for children ages 5 to 12.
