Map of Mountain's Edge Exploration Park
The Mountain's Edge homeowners association is collecting blankets and toys for dogs at a local animal sanctuary.
Throughout the winter, residents are invited to drop off an old blanket or toy at a donation box at the entrance to Exploration Peak Park. The gifts will then be passed onto the residents at a no-kill shelter run by Nevada's Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Las Vegas.
Towels, pillows and other gift ideas are also encouraged. The park's entrance is located at 7185 Neches Ave.
