Two Las Vegas bakeries are enticing sweet-toothed residents with free cupcakes this month to donate canned goods to the Three Square food drive.
Cupcake aficionados may bring in up to three cans per day to receive the one-for-one cupcake deal, which is being offered at The Cupcakery’s Eastern and Summerlin locations and the Retro Bakery’s Centennial Hills shop. The canned food items will be donated to Three Square, a local food pantry.
“We were happy to team up with The Cupcakery when they approached us with the idea,” said Kari Haskell, the owner of Retro Bakery. “We wanted to give back to the community. It’s the season of giving. It’s a gesture of goodwill.”
The Cupcakery is located at 9680 S. Eastern Ave., Suite 100 and at 7175 W. Lake Mead Ave., Suite 118. The Retro Bakery is located at 7785 N. Durango Drive, Suite 130.
