Regarding Glenn Hutchins’ commentary in Thursday’s Las Vegas Sun, “American political bickering looks childish from Asia”:
Journalists and foreign governments have called the American people childish for our current anger at our government.
More specifically, we seem to be acting like children who have behaved foolishly and are now facing the consequences — and we are blaming our parents.
People are not asking what we can do differently. We want the government to change things, but we, as individuals, want to continue acting as we have. Certainly we must share accountability.
