Pedestrian struck
A woman was transported to University Medical Center on Friday evening after she was hit by a vehicle in the northwest valley, Metro Police said.
At 5:24 p.m., police responded to reports of a pedestrian accident near Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai Way. Police said the woman had shortness of breath and possible leg injuries.
She was transported to UMC but did not suffer any serious injuries, police said.
