Sharron Angle hires seasoned campaign spokesman

After a bumpy stretch in her Nevada campaign for U.S. Senate, Sharron Angle is getting help to get her message out.
The Republican who wants to oust Democratic Majority Leader Harry Reid has hired a seasoned campaign operative as communications director.
Jarrod Agen worked on former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's 2008 presidential campaign, and was California Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner's spokesman during his unsuccessful bid for governor this year.
Agen comes to Angle's campaign with polls showing the race against Reid a tossup.
Angle has been on the defensive for avoiding the mainstream media, and she had to backtrack after referring to a $20 billion victims' compensation fund for the Gulf oil spill as a "slush fund."
