The latest incarnation of Sharron Angle was unveiled Monday at the Republican Men’s Club. Some of the new Angle was the same as the old Angle — a talking head always on message, same as she ever was. But she also seemed more relaxed and willing to talk to the media afterward, flanked by new spokeswoman Ciara Matthews, late of the state GOP. Yes, they only gave us time for a few questions — busy, busy, busy, you know — but she did not run away, or even feint to do so. And Angle flashed a sense of humor when she got parched during her remarks, saying she was tired from “running from the press so much.” Nice.
Jon--I was there too--I do think that you sort of like her.She is a gracious person who took time to look everyone in the eye, walk to everyone in the room, and shake their hand with a smile on her face. She's always that way--always seems to appreciate the fact that you were kind enough to come and be there for her.
Finally, we're beginning to realize that Sharron Angle is a "real" person and not someone from a parallel universe (as Harry Reid describes her.)
Mrs. Angle is one of us, a genuine and sincere American who has some bold new ideas that can go a long way to solving some of the federal budget problems we have in Washington.
Only the narrow-minded among us refuse to listen.
"Lemons to Lemonade Angle" will not change because she does not have the mental capacity to analyze herself.
Angle has spoken, and adding up all that she has said tells all of us that "Lemons to Lemonade Angle" would be a Demolition Company and not a Construction Company on issues that are important to Nevadans.
The wingnut supporters can put all the lipstick on Angle they want but she is still a "Hawg."
No matter how hard one tries, one cannot make a silk purse out of a "Hawg's" ear!
"Lemons to Lemonade Angle" has written her "Mein Kampf" and we should be very much aware of the damage she can do, if allowed to reach any position of political power.
She may be a real person,...but her ideas and though process is nuts. Elect her,...then its the government you deserve

That whole "running from the press" thing was way overblown anyway. Sharron is going to make a great US Senator!
Yes, we do need a good two party system in this country... But, for those individuals who are thinking of voting for Angle - YOU ARE A FEW SANDWICHES SHORT OF A PICNIC....

It's called "the Bush Doctrine" and it's quite well known, among those who pay more attention to current events than to "American Idol." The National Security Council published a comprehensive treatment of it in 2002, called, "National Security Strategy of the United States." Essentially, it includes the controversial policy of preventive war, which holds that the United States should depose foreign regimes that represent a potential or perceived threat to the security of the United States, even if that threat is not immediate; a policy of spreading democracy around the world, especially in the Middle East, as a strategy for combating terrorism; and a willingness to unilaterally pursue U.S. military interests.
In short, it was the basis for the invasions and continued occupations of Afghanistan and Iraq, and President Bush's unilateral withdrawal from the ant-ballistic missile treaty. And it was not a trick question for someone who wanted to be an elderly, cancer-survivor heartbeat away from the Presidency.
"We needed the press to be our friend," Angle tells Fox's Carl Cameron on Monday. "Hold on a second, to be your friend?" a surprised Cameron asks. Angle says, "Well truly." Cameron: "That sounds naive."
Angle goes on: "Well, no. We want them to ask the questions we want to answer so that they report the news the way we want it to be reported." She adds that she wants to mention her website, Sharron.Angle.com, in such situations so potential supporters can contribute to her cause.

'Nuff said, Sharron. Remember a few weeks back when Angle whined that Reid was using her own words against her? Why is she in politics when, a) she hates government, and b) she clearly can't stand the heat? The woman is screwy.
Well it is no surprise that the Sun has nothing good to say about anyone who has the guts to run against the loser Reid...No wonder not many people by their rag...Reid has been in office how many years and he blames everything on someone else..

I sure as heck am not going to vote to bring someone who should be running for Queen of the Rubber Room in on November 2. Maybe you were one of the voters who helped put Angle on the ballot in the first place. Regret it much?
To Xjailer, believe me, I will be one of the people that take out the TRASH on Nov 2nd. The trash will be Crazy Sharron!!! Guts to run against someone, is just that, BUT Crazy Sharron runs away from the press, more she does anything else. She recently stated that she was tired of running from the press, WELL put on your running shoes, GIRL!
Ciarra Mathews, aka Ciara Turns, was one of the phony winners of the kxnt Republican News Station's "radio star" contest ....in which by some miracle, a Republican apparatchik would always win. Another winner was Heather Kydd, who was Ensign's youth coordinator and later Secretary of the Clark County Republican Party.
One of Cirra's last media foray's was when she made a big deal about Ross Miller's phone number in his re-election filing (she was given massive amounts of time on kxnt's Republican Alan Stock Show for the "bid disclosure.") This was quickly thrown out.
Speaking of disclosures, I believe Stock's daughter had some Republican job as well. Cozy isn't it.
This station should file a campaign disclosure as being a arm of the Republican Party.
And of course kxnt and Stock were the big "fixers" for John Ensign, using a decoy car to distract legitimate media from interviewing Ensign after his "indiscretions." They aranged a softball interview with Stock, who admitted having lunch with Ensign a week before the heavily screened interview.
Narf...You say seniors liked their health care. Yes, they like medicare, a program largely initiated by Democrats and a Democrat president. You say Harry Reid has somehow taken $500 billion from medicare. No, that is a distortion, mis-statement of facts and twisting of reality. However, Sharron Angle has stated in plain English she would like to phase out medicare along with social security. Now she says that was taken out of context. But no, there it is all over the internet and elsewhere on videotape, Sharron Angle saying in one continuous sentence, "We need to phase medicare and social security out in favor of something privatized." Later changing to "personalize" instead of privatize and using some distorted rhetoric to fudge on what she even means by that. But objective people can see through that and see what she means. She means that she doesn't need social security or medicare and those who do should suffer without it.
