North Las Vegas Police released photos of a man Monday wanted in the robbery of a woman in a Walgreens parking lot on July 21.

Police said the robbery occurred about 9 p.m. at 4771 W. Craig Road when a 51-year-old Las Vegas woman was waiting to be picked up by a friend. A white Ford Expedition drove up to her in the parking lot and the driver asked if she wanted a ride, police spokesman Tim Bedwell said.

When the woman said she didn’t want a ride, police said the man got out of the car and took her purse after pulling her to the ground.

Police described the suspect as white, likely in his 20s and 5-feet-8-inches tall with short, brown hair and weighing about 225 pounds. Police said the man has a large tattoo on his left upper arm and was wearing a black tank top, white shorts, white sandals and a white baseball cap at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information about the robbery is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555 or the North Las Vegas Police Department at 633-9111.
