Suspicious device found in Henderson home

Henderson Police are investigating a suspicious device that was found in a home this morning.

Police spokesman Todd Rasmussen said the call came in as a neighborhood disturbance at 6:18 a.m. Friday in the 2100 block of Polynesia Circle, which is near Green Valley Parkway and Wigwam Parkway. He said officers were invited into the home of one of the neighbors and noticed a suspicious device.

Authorities have evacuated neighbors and nearby houses. The police Armor Unit is investigating the incident.
