A pregnant woman was taken to University Medical Center after suffering minor injuries this afternoon in a three-vehicle accident on northbound Interstate 15.
Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Joseph Fackrell said the accident occurred shortly before 4:50 p.m. near the Sahara Avenue interchange. He said three vehicles traveling northbound on the highway collided.
The pregnant woman suffered minor injuries and was taken to UMC as a precaution, Fackrell said. One lane was closed while crews cleared the accident.
This is the second collision that has occurred on I-15 near the Sahara Avenue exit in two days. A motorcyclist died in a hit-and-run collision with a semi-truck Wednesday.
