Death investigation
Metro Police homicide detectives are investigating after a body was found Thursday afternoon near the intersection of South Durango Drive and West Ford Avenue.
Police spokesman Bill Cassell said officers received a call shortly before 2 p.m. that a man was found dead. The location is about a half-mile north of Durango's intersection with Blue Diamond Road.
Officers were at the scene investigating this afternoon.
