Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 | midnight
Durango running backs Julio Mora and Mike Mehling combined for more than 200 yards and five touchdowns as Durango ran past Clark 46-26.
“We played well,” Durango coach Gary Maki said. “There were a lot of penalties on our end, which I was not happy about. But we’re happy overall; we’re 3-1.”
Durango struck fast and early and built an insurmountable lead by halftime. Clark scored the bulk of its points after Durango took its starters out.
