Saturday, Sept. 12, 2009 | midnight
Bonanza’s Sterling Sprau and Desean Martin are fairly proficient when it comes to moving the football.
They proved it again Friday night in Bonanza’s 53-34 victory against Clark. Sprau, the quarterback, went 13-for-17 passing for 294 yards and five touchdowns.
Martin caught two of those touchdown passes and combined them with two rushing scores. Overall, Martin had nearly 300 all-purpose yards.
Clark’s only offense came from running back Andre Clay, who had 171 yards and three touchdowns.
