A poll released by liberal blog

Friday, Sept. 4, 2009 | 2 a.m.

A poll released Thursday by the liberal blog Daily Kos showed that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s numbers were, as other surveys have shown, horrific: 36 percent favorable and 52 percent unfavorable. Those are fatal numbers, but Reid’s career has had enough resurrections that I don’t want to pronounce him dead yet. What was most revealing about the poll, though, was two other prominent Nevada pols had even worse ratings: Gov. Jim Gibbons was measured at 17-61 and Sen. John Ensign was at 28-53. And who had the best numbers in the state, albeit not so robust: President Barack Obama at 48-41. Before all you Republicans go crazy, the firm, Research 2000, is credible, and Daily Kos despises Reid. The numbers look accurate to me.
