Mingle & Mayhem at Blush: Blush puts a new spin on the holiday mixer with Mingle & Mayhem featuring $5,000 in cash and prizes plus local ladies can enjoy a champagne open bar from 11 p.m. to midnight.
Night of the Creeps: Edward 40 Hands at McFadden's: If you're old enough to be drinking this Halloween season, you're old enough to remember the film Edward Scissorhands. McFadden's at the Rio will host Night of the Creeps: Edward 40 Hands. For those not familiar with the modern college pastime, Edward 40 Hands entails taping a 40-ounce beer to each hand and leaving it secured until the last drop is gone. The first partygoer to finish his or her beers will win a cash prize.
Puscifer at the Pearl:If you're a Tool fan or a Maynard James Keenan fan, you have to check out Keenan's new group at The Pearl at The Palms. The Blacklist Art & Film Festival at The Griffin: The Griffin will host The Blacklist Art & Film Festival, an event which celebrates creativity outside the mainstream arts scene. Check out a Halloween-inspired event with an art gallery featuring works by local and visiting artists plus a horror film showcase with screenings of award-winning short films that are a must for any horror fan.
“True Bud” Halloween weekend at Rockhouse: The Rockhouse Bar & Nightclub will host “True Bud” Halloween weekend featuring “I want to suck your Bud” specials and $1,500 in cash prizes awarded for the top costumes each night. Drink specials include $2 Budweiser drafts before 6 p.m. from Thursday, Oct. 29 through Saturday, Oct. 31. On Thursday, Oct. 29, $500 will be awarded for the sexist costume, or lack thereof, during the Happy Hallow-Uh Oh contest. Friday night, Bud Light Wheat will host a $500 contest for the most creative costume and Saturday night, a $500 cash prize will be given away for the top get up.
