Joe Biden to attend Nevada fundraiser for Harry Reid

WASHINGTON -- Vice President Joe Biden is coming to Reno next week to hold an event in town as well as attend a breakfast fundraiser for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

Reid’s office confirms the Oct. 16 visit, first reported this morning in the Reno Gazette-Journal, which says the senator is seeking the maximum donation of $2,400 per person, $4,800 per couple for the breakfast.

The Republican National Committee jumped on the chance to blast the fundraiser, saying, “Hard-working families of Nevada, not the wealthy few, deserve to hear firsthand from Vice President Biden and Senator Reid on how they plan to turn around Nevada’s ailing economy.”

    What a joke. I don't remember the Republicans complaining when Bush and Cheney did big dollar fundraisers for Ensign, Heller, and Porter. Jeez, the hypocrisy...

    WOW! The GOP is about to nail Rangel because he didn't pay income taxes on $75K. Boy George had Wesley Snipes and Ron Isley jailed because they didn't pay arrears income tax. Obama (Uncle T*m) just jailed Method Man because he didn't pay $30K in back taxes.

    While GHWB had the "WATCH", his baby-boy, Neil Bush (MBA-dyslexia), without a shot being fired, Neil robbed Denver's Silverado Bank of more than $1 BILLION. Unlike Mayweather, Neil didn't pay any income taxes. Ooops! Neil is W-H-I-T-E! Soon as GHWB exited the Oval Office, he made $16 million from insider-stock trading at Global Crossings, Inc., and like Silverado, Global fianncially collapsed too.

    Clinton and Obama joined GHWB, and they gave Neil a "FREE-PASS" too. Bush-Klan (criminal enterprise) & Dixiecrats = BFF!

    The talk is good, but, the reality is that if Reid gets re-elected he'll do nothing just as he's done the last 6 yrs.

    Biden will be coming to town to "hold an event in town as well as attend a breakfast fundraiser"

    It doesn't say specifically that he'll be allowed to talk. I'd pay double just to hear him talk.
