CNN host Larry King

Larry King is a lot of things, but he’s not one to back down from a bet.

The iconic CNN host has agreed to give a rare, one-night performance next month at the Encore after receiving a personal dare from Encore developer Steve Wynn.

King apparently agreed to the engagement only after receiving the resort mogul’s challenge.

All bets aside, the Emmy Award-winning cable news personality appears in the Encore Theater at 8 p.m. on June 19.

As with his popular program, “Larry King Live,” nothing will be off limits as King discusses the colorful personalities and experiences he has encountered during his long and legendary career.

The event will benefit the Larry King Cardiac Foundation, which help uninsured individuals with limited means obtain life-saving cardiac care they otherwise could not afford.

King’s wife, country singer Shawn King, will serve as the night’s opening act.

Tickets for the event are priced from $59 to $79, plus taxes and service charges, and are available at the Encore box office, by phone (702-770-9966) and online.
