Those in the area of Las Vegas’ Symphony Park are getting a clearer picture as construction continues on the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health at West Bonneville Avenue and South Grand Central Parkway. Designed by world-renowned architect Frank Gehry, who also designed the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles and the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, the facility for Alzheimer’s disease research and treatment is expected to also be a tourist attraction when it is completed in late fall.

  1. Yes, a tourist attraction - maybe a freak show! It is way too avant garde - think about what it is for - maybe it is a diagram of a brain afflicted with alzheimers?

  2. I think Las Vegas is priviledged to have such a beautiful building by such a talented architect in its ranks. In a city where, outside the strip, there is no architectural individuality, faux Tuscan is rampant and everything looks the same, I will finally have some architectural eye candy!!!

  3. Oh my god, it melted.
