Jamie Fox, Jay-Z and Ciara, Pussycat Dolls among Las Vegas concerts announced

Four major concerts announced today by the Pearl at the Palms and two by the Joint at Hard Rock

Today may be “National Eat What You Want Day,” but it appears to be “Announce a Concert Day,” at the Palms.

The Pearl announced four -- count ‘em, one, two, three, four! – major live music shows today.

The Hard Rock wasn’t too far behind, either: The new Joint jumped on the concert announcement train today and added three new performers to their summer schedule, as well.

The unofficial holiday had the Palms’ dedicated PR professionals working overtime and kept the Hard Rock’s representatives hopping, too.

The four shows announced today for the Pearl include the Pussycat Dolls on June 27; Jay-Z and Ciara on July 3 and 4; Steely Dan on Aug. 28; and Kylie Minogue on Oct 3.

The Joint, meanwhile, will host comedian and host of E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” Chelsea Handler, on June 20, Jamie Foxx on July 3 and 4; and Underworld on Aug. 6.
