Issues: The most important issue we face is ensuring our city's fiscal stability. In the coming years, every department in the city will be faced with making adjustments to their budgets. We must, however, do so without jeopardizing vital city services and our unique quality of life.

I will also continue providing world-class park and recreation facilities, work to expand our educational support system with the help of volunteers and business, and ensure that our police and firefighters have all the tools they need to keep our families safe.

Qualifications: I am the only candidate for mayor who can bring to the office a blend of private sector experience, dedicated community service and truly diverse public service. I am a fiscal conservative and have served as a watchdog for tax dollars during my tenure as councilman.

Serving as chairman of the Parks and Recreation Commission prior to my election gives me a unique ability to balance that fiscal conservatism with delivering vital services to the families of our community.

Four generations of my family have made Henderson home. I pledge to work everyday to protect our unique quality of life and to maintain our property values.

What sets you apart from your opponents: I have the passion, the experience, and the energy to lead Henderson through a truly crucial time in the city's history. The severe economic downturn we all face will require the next mayor to make tough fiscal decisions while still maintaining Henderson's unique quality of life.

My business experience in the private sector, my unique record of volunteer service to the community, and the time I've spent on the City Council have prepared me to lead Henderson into the future.
