Age: Not provided

Campaign Web site: www.mayberryformayor.com

Party: Republican

Occupation: Retired chief of Henderson Police Department; 29-year department veteran

Education: Graduate of Bishop Gorman High School, B.A., criminal justice, UNLV; FBI National Academy, 180th Session; Law Enforcement Executive Development Seminar, 29th Session.

Time in Nevada: My entire life

Time in Ward: I have lived and worked in Henderson my entire adult life.

Issues: We need a leader who possesses executive level experience; one who can balance the budgets and make tough policy decisions on development and governmental services; a leader who can bring people together to meet future challenges.

Henderson's next mayor will face critical budgetary decisions that will determine our future. I'm the only candidate in the race who's balanced a budget, led a staff of hundreds of employees, and had to make tough decisions.

Qualifications: I served the Henderson at the Police Department for almost 30 years, working my way through the ranks from reserve police officer to police chief, where I served for six years. I have the passion and a renewed heart to serve the citizens of Henderson.

What sets you apart from your opponents: My 29 years on the police force instilled in me a sense of community and a yearning to serve.

As your mayor, I will make the hard decisions, set priorities and maintain this city as a model of how a community works together. Challenging times will not define Henderson; Henderson will define how a city deals with challenging times. Committed people working together can accomplish anything. I do not ask for your vote because of what I have accomplished; vote for me because of who I am. I am an honest, ethical, public servant.
